SQL Specialist (Partner CSA)
We are seeking a SQL Specialist to join our extended delivery team, supporting Microsoft enterprise customers.
The role is primarily focused on SQL Server On-Premises environments – administration, optimization, troubleshooting, and modernization.
Cloud technologies (Azure SQL) and AI/data analytics remain in the background as added value, but the core expertise must be SQL On-Prem.
The role is based in Herzliya and requires field travel

Responsibilities



Deliver SQL Server engagements: database design, optimization, performance tuning, HA/DR, and maintenance.


Lead customer-facing workshops, assessments, and technical implementation sessions.


Troubleshoot advanced SQL issues (queries, indexing, replication, clustering).


Support SQL upgrade and migration projects across enterprise environments.


Collaborate with Microsoft CSAs, CSAMs, and customer stakeholders.

75% on-site at customer locations


25% remote work



Requirements



2+ Years of hands-on experience with SQL Server On-Premises in enterprise environments


Strong knowledge of HA/DR (Always On, clustering, mirroring, log shipping).


Experience in performance tuning and query optimization (execution plans, indexing strategies).


Familiarity with ETL processes and SSIS.


Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


Fluent Hebrew, Good level of English is required.



Preferred / Bonus Skills



Knowledge of Azure SQL Database and Synapse Analytics.


Active Security Clearance – Level 3 or higher, or willingness to undergo a clearance process.


Experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools.


Scripting capabilities (T-SQL, PowerShell).
